WEAVERS LOOK AT WEARABLES

We have an exciting program year coming up, focusing on wearables. To start things off, September’s program will be led by guild members and will highlight the many ways we can approach wearables. Sondra Rose will talk about wearables made from hand-woven fabric for which little shaping is required once the fabric leaves the loom.  Barbara Snow will go through some ideas about sewing with your precious hand-woven fabric and getting good results. Donna Hunter will discuss and show us some of her wonderful wearable felt. Bring your own approaches as well, and your questions. It should be fun!

The meeting will be on Wednesday, Sept. 14, 2011 at 7:00 p.m. at St. James Presbyterian Church’s lower level meeting room at 910 14th St. in Bellingham. Admission is free.
